Emergency Response Assistance Canada (ERAC) has responders, response teams and ERAC-owned firefighting equipment strategically located across Canada in order to best support our Plan Participants in case of an incident. All these resources are available to ERAC, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

ERAC-owned equipment is stored with fire departments in various communities - this equipment can be used by these fire departments for response to non-ERAC incidents, benefiting these communities.

ERAC has developed and is using an ArcGIS web mapping application that aids in the location and allocation of resources for any incident. It will allow Plan Participants real-time access to all their incidents. We’re extending access to all our Plan Participant members.

Your organization must have access to ArcGIS Online to use this tool. For access to the ERAC Resource Locator, or for more information, please contact Mike Wright, Geospatial Specialist, 587-349-5884.
