Emergency Response Assistance Canada's Dangerous Goods Emergency Management Conference provides topical and relevant information on emergency management and safety to those in the oil and gas, emergency response and transportation industries.

Dangerous Goods Emergency Management (DGEM) Conference

The DGEM Conference offers a unique opportunity for ERAC Plan Participant members and responders to meet, build relationships, share ideas, and learn valuable information from a diverse array of subject-matter experts and technical training sessions. Conference activities include the National Responder Awards reception and dinner, where ERAC recognizes the efforts of our outstanding responders and response teams.

National Responder Awards

Emergency Response Assistance Canada (ERAC)’s vision is to be the highest quality emergency preparedness and response assistance organization in Canada.

To recognize the efforts of our outstanding individuals and response teams, ERAC has created three awards in these areas:

  1. Leadership

  2. Safety

  3. Training and Learning

Nominations take place every two years and awards are presented at ERAC’s Dangerous Goods Emergency Management Conference.
